We are asking for your generosity to support our fundraising campaign for two organizations we would dearly like to help during our forthcoming trip to Nepal from 3rd – 12th Dec 2010.

The first is Pokhara View Point Primary School in Pumdi Bhumdi, Nepal, and the second is for the International Nepal Fellowship (INF).

Pokhara View Point Primary School is a community managed government sector school and relies entirely on the funding from pupil’s families and donations from individuals like you to provide an education to their children. They have been established since 1983 and provide education to 81 children (43 girls and 38 boys) from underprivileged members of society.

The second organization is the International Nepal Fellowship (INF), a Christian mission working in health and sustainable development in the Western and Mid-Western Regions of Nepal. INF has been working with people with a disability since 1952.

We need donations to help provide Pokhara Primary School add a library for the children and they need encyclopedias, dictionaries, books (story, poem, etc) and equipment for their computer lab.

We would also like to help provide wheelchairs to INF to help disadvantaged people. The total cost per wheelchair is approximately 25,000 rupees (£217), including everything from providing travel, accommodation and food costs for the client and a home visit from their community based rehab team to ensure that the home environment is also wheelchair friendly.

We’d appreciate a donation of any amount big or small. Your donation will help us achieve our goal for this fundraiser, which is £1000.
